Hi! My name is Kenzie, welcome to my blog. I am currently fifteen but almost sixteen, and I am a supervisor at Pita Pit. I have been playing soccer since I was three and have been on a rep team for the past two years. It is my hope to play varsity soccer in university. I would like to be fluent in two languages other than English by the time I am eighteen; and travel the world as much as possible. I love 90s movies and anything Marvel, and I have a dog named Coconut who is a Husky-Chow mix.
In history class, we did not discuss a great deal of Indigenous history with the exception of one day when learning about residential schools. This course will benefit my understanding of Indigenous culture and language. I am interested in learning about the diverse Indigenous tribes in our area, as well as, throughout Canada. As a class, we have already developed an understanding of capitalization of Indigenous terms and labels, sacred circles, and medicine wheels. I am interested on finding out what we will learn next.
